The Fire Fighter Plus

Benefits

The new system is very high fire resistance and is suitable for installations in hotels, shopping centers, residences etc..

The new system does not transmit the flame and during burning it does not emit harmful gases to the human body. For this reason it has been categorized as C, s1, d0 which is a very high standard for a plastic pipe.

The system follows the standards: EN ISO 13501, EN ISO 12845, EN ISO 13823, EN ISO 11925 EN ISO 15874, EN 21003, NFPA 13, UL 1821, DVS 2207

  • Fully integrated and certified system according to EN13501
  • Designed for atleast 50 years for continuous operation
  • Quick and easy installation
  • Corrosion resistance
  • very lightweight
  • Easy transportation

The FireFighter Plus was awarded for the period 2020-2021 by the Greek Academy of Marketing as the most innovative Greek product. Interplast’ s FireFighter Plus is a complete certified system for Low & Ordinary Hazard networks.

FIREFIGHTER-PLASTIC PIPE SYSTEM FOR FIREFIGHTING NETWORKS MADE BY POLYPROPYLENE

The pipe consists of three layers where the intermediate section is a special glass fiber composite, with high mechanical strength. Important Note: The European standard for classification of fire products is EN 13501 which refers to flame transmission, flue gas emission, burning particles and droplets.

The German DIN 4102 is not an acceptable standard for European countries and its categorization is completely different from the corresponding European one. For example, in category B1 belongs the products with classification from B, s1, d0 to C-s3, d2.

Corrosion for metal pipes for firefighting networks

  • Quick and simple installation specially designed for firefighting networks.
  • No accumulation of residues due to corrosion, resulting in the trouble-free flow of water to the Sprinkler.
  • Low weight, easy transportation and reduced installation costs.
  • No painting of piping is required like galvanized pipes, due to the red color.
  • Absence of corrosion phenomena.
  • Pipe connections and fittings are made in the same way as classic PPR. Welding equipment also remains the same.
  • Fusion welding connections.
  • Less weight compared to metal pipes.
  • Less installation time than metal pipes and as a result the reducing of installation costs.
  • There is no possibility of sprinkler blocking.
  • Designed for 50 years life time at least. Practically life time is much longer.

FIREFIGHTER-PLASTIC PIPE SYSTEM FOR FIREFIGHTING NETWORKS MADE BY POLYPROPYLENE

  • Suitable for placement on underground networks even at very low depths.
  • It is a material with great elasticity and very good behavior in case of an earthquake.
  • No encumber the roofs of the buildings.
  • Suitable for buildings with metallic lightweight ceilings.
  • Warehouses, Hotels, Residences, Industries, Underground Parking.
  • Fire-fighting networks in areas with a severely corrosive environment, such as hotel facilities near the sea, etc.
  • The polypropylene system can be installed for low and ordinary hazard networks (EN 12845 classified this).
